Unlock the language you need to express yourself.
Outwordly reminds you to write your own thoughts in the language you're learning. Put anything you cannot yet express in [brackets], unlock the missing language, and recall it from memory.
Your language gaps appear when you try to say something real.
Understanding a language is not the same as being able to express your own thoughts in it.
Writing from memory reveals two valuable things: what you do not know how to say and what you thought you knew but expressed incorrectly.
Outwordly turns both into personal language you can learn, recall, and use again.
This short video explains why producing language helps you remember it.
Outwordly turns this learning principle into a short daily practice inside Chrome.
Language learners often understand more than they can express.
They can follow conversations and understand what they read, but when they try to form their own thoughts, the words disappear. Outwordly starts with that gap.
Your own thoughts become your language practice.
1. Get a reminder to practise
On your chosen days, Outwordly sends a notification when it is time to begin a short session.
2. Write what you want to say
Write freely for three minutes. When you know the idea but not the expression, put it in [brackets] and keep going.
3. Unlock what was missing
See a corrected version, learn how to express every bracket, and review the mistakes you did not know you were making.
4. Recall your unlocked language
Express the same idea out loud from memory. Outwordly shows which expressions came back and which need another look.
Build your language around what you want to say.

The useful details before you begin.
No. Outwordly reminds you to begin, but you decide what to write about. Your own life, work, interests, stories, and opinions determine the language you unlock.
Write the idea in your native language inside [brackets] and continue. Outwordly will show you how to express it naturally in the language you are learning.
You write your own thoughts from memory, review a corrected version, unlock the expressions you were missing, and then recall the same language out loud.
During your three-session trial, you can complete all three sessions in one day. After the trial, you can complete up to two sessions per day and return the following day.
Start with three completed sessions at no charge and without entering a card. After session three, subscribe at the displayed annual price if you want to continue.
Outwordly uses your audio to create a transcript and check which expressions you recalled. It does not score your accent, and the audio is not saved with previous sessions. Your profile, sessions, corrections, and unlocked language are saved to your Outwordly account.
Start unlocking the language behind your own thoughts.
Write what you want to say. Mark what you cannot express. Learn it, then bring it back from memory.
